Paperwhites

It's not too early to be thinking about Holiday decorations, especially if you plan on forcing bulbs such as paperwhites or amaryllis. These bulbs take anywhere from three to eight weeks to bloom, so head out to your local nursery now and grab them before they're gone.
They are easy to grow and a fun thing to do with kids!
1)Fill a container with stones, 2)add bulbs, 3)water and watch the magic happen!
They add such a festive touch to any room and look quite dramatic when several are planted together in a large container. I love this table centerpiece! The delicate paperwhites mixed with mercury glass, white candles and natural greenery is an easy combination and looks so elegant.

Forcing paperwhites in individual containers packs a punch on this mantle.

Pretty with silver and white lights.

Placing several in a large container is a great centerpiece idea.

Cut stems tied with a ribbon at each place setting.
Simple and beautiful!
